3 Little Piggies

Once upon a time
there were three little pigs in a smallish pen.
A group of people showed up one day
and started to build a fence for the little doggy out front.

Soon though,
a lady came over talked to the pigs.
She was kind and had a whole bunch of friends.
Next thing the little piggies knew
there were more people over by them.

Those people put in posts,
stretched more fencing,
all while smiling and giggle a bunch.
Those people weren't regular people,
they were animal heroes.

Next thing they knew,
the little piggies saw the fence right by them torn away.
And WOOSH!
Those little piggies were off.
They ran.
They pranced.
They even did a little jig dance.
The best thing was that they were happy
and had a larger place to graze.

Thanks Fences For Fido.
Those little piggies weren't fidos,
but you saw a need and met it.
That's what love does.

Pink Power for Pups

While tens of thousands of men, women, and children were marching in support of those with breast cancer through Portland.  We were also a powerful force in pink in SW Washington, to support cancer survivors and unchain pups.

  Emily and Charlie
Charlie received a lot of love when he arrived home from a morning of fishing with his human.

Emily was just a little wiggly love-bug, wanting to play with her toys and anyone she could find.Nice job leaning Tom!

Charlie also had many "official" duties, such as inspecting the fencing and instillation of t-posts.
The Hoods were the perfect models for our FFF hoo-rags!
And soon enough, a fence was built!
Charlie explored all areas and the fence.  He gave it four paws up!

Thank you to our amazing donors for making these days possible
and changing the lives of our four-legged friends.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
